Position Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. Reporting to the Executive Director of Annual Giving the Leadership Annual Giving Officer will serve as an annual giving frontline fundraiser with a specific focus on digital fundraising. The Leadership Annual Giving Officer will work closely with the Executive Director and schools and units to develop a strategic roadmap and appropriate annual and longterm fundraising goals. The Leadership Annual Giving Officer will also have direct responsibility for maintaining and managing a personal portfolio with a mandate to identify cultivate and solicit annual fund gifts. This position will serve as staff liaison for the Young Alumni Leadership Council ( YALC ) Alumni Committee on Racial and Ethnic Diversity ( ACRED ) and GiveUNC Volunteers. 50% of fundraising will be focused on the Chancellors Global Education Fund. 50% of fundraising will be focused on The Carolina Fund Scholarships and other important initiatives as they arise.

Superb interpersonal relationship skills. Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Demonstrated successful annual giving or transferable experience preferred. Ability to interact effectively in a comprehensive research university setting. Familiarity with the Universitys academic and administrative offices and their functions; knowledge of and ability to tap resources within the University community.
