Account Manager (Steel Specialist) Job Summary:

The Account Manager Steel Specialist is responsible for managing and expanding our customer base within the steel market serving as the primary liaison between clients and the company. This role requires deep expertise in steel products applications and market dynamics. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong sales acumen excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client management and revenue growth.

Account Manager (Steel Specialist) Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the steel industry understanding their unique needs and providing tailored product solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on steel product offerings.
  • Maintain expertlevel knowledge of steel grades specifications and industrial applications.
  • Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for steel customers providing prompt and accurate responses to inquiries orders and concerns.
  • Coordinate closely with internal departmentslogistics operations and financeto ensure seamless order fulfillment and client satisfaction.
  • Proactively resolve client issues by collaborating with relevant teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct regular client checkins and performance reviews identifying upselling and crossselling opportunities.
  • Monitor developments in the steel industry including pricing regulatory changes and supply chain shifts.
  • Provide senior management with market insights competitive analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Prospect new steel customers and suppliers to build a robust sales pipeline and expand market reach.

Account Manager (Steel Specialist) Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Indepth knowledge of steel products including specifications applications and market pricing.
  • Proven track record in steel sales account management or business development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish longterm business relationships.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and business reporting tools.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and departments.

Account Manager (Steel Specialist) Education and Experience:
