Host - Reserve Steakhouse Part Time (Thursday - Sunday 3:00pm - 11:00pm)

As a member of our team you will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests guiding them to their tables or lounge areas and contributing to a high standard of quality and service throughout their visit. This position is integral to the overall guest experience and we look forward to adding dedicated individuals to our dynamic team.

Essential Functions:

• Immediately welcomes all guests by their first and last name as appropriate.
• Seats guests in a timely manner and provides essential information regarding the outlet.
• Will possess knowledge of all menu offerings including all specials and/or promotions.
• Sincerely thank all guests and provide a warm farewell upon exit from the outlet/area.
• Has the ability to oversee communication with service staff regarding any guests needs.
• Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrahs and encourages others to do the same.
• Adheres to all regulatory companyy and department policies and procedures.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous restaurant hosting experience is required preferably in a steakhouse or fine dining setting; cash handling experience is preferred.
• Neat and clean appearance.
• Exceptional communication interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights weekends and holidays.

Physical Mental and Environmental Demand:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• The position requires 90% standing and 10% walking.
• Requires some pushing and twisting.
• Requires some bending kneeling climbing stooping and frequent reaching above and below shoulders.
• Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke.
• Must be able to respond to touch speech smell aural and visual cues.
• Fastpaced environment involving constant public contact.
• Must be able to stand and exert fastpaced mobility for long periods of time.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Earn between $15.00 per hour.

Shift Details:

• Swing Shift: 3:00 pm 11:30 pm (Thursday Sunday)

Were ideally looking for coverage Thursday through Sunday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. That said flexibility is important shifts may vary with start times between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM and wrapup around 10:30 PM
