Do you have a Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ City & Guilds or equivalent experience cooking for up to 60 residents.
Duties within care homes include preparation of food and beverages and the organisation of the service of food along with understanding the requirements of special diets for residents.
Duties may include serving of meals general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up setting up and clearing away equipment and tables) and cleaning of the kitchen its surround and equipment.
Completion of required paperwork including electronic returns.
We have several vacancies for Assistant Cooks in Care Homes which provides care 7 days a week for residents.
Assistant Cook
Posts consist of early and late shifts between the hours 7.00am to 2:30pm or 10:30am to 6:00pm working 5 days over 7 on a rota.

The Person
Do you have a Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ City & Guilds or equivalent
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
Before confirming your appointment you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
