Qualifications/Experience:
High school diploma GED or equivalent.
Within one year obtain Serve Safe Certification and School Nurtition Level III Certification.
Kitchen experience preferred. General knowledge of USDA rules and regulations experience in food and nutrition service school environment preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Ues of standardized and specialized kitchen utensils and equipment; foor preparation and serving skills dishwashing and cleaning skills; prositve relationship building communication and teamwork skills.
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion respect responsibility self discipline and honesty.
Specific Tasks:
Mealpreperation planning and service. Kitchen operations. Record keeping and procedures. Seejob descriptionfor additional information.
