Reporting to the Global PMO Manager the IT SOX Project Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with SarbanesOxley (SOX) regulations by overseeing and maintaining IT General Controls (ITGC) across inscope systems. This role plans daytoday SOX compliance activities coordinates audits documents evidence manages remediation efforts and supports IT projects through their lifecycle. Strong project management communication and analytical skills are essential along with experience in IT compliance and audit processes.
This position is part of the IT Department located onsite in Glen Allen VA.
In this role a typical day will look like:
- Support and manage IT SOX projects through full lifecycle phases including planning monitoring and reporting.
- Plan and execute all IT SOX compliance activities including walkthroughs audits and control testing.
- Ensure IT General Controls (ITGCs) are implemented maintained and evidenced through detailed documentation.
- Prepare and provide timely SOX Electronic Audit Evidence (EAE) to support internal and external audit requirements.
- Identify and assess risks control gaps and drive remediation efforts to maintain a strong IT control environment.
- Collaborate with auditors and IT/business stakeholders to support audit readiness and responses to document requests.
- Maintain and update SOXrelated policies procedures and documentation within a determined schedule.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelors degree in IT Business or a related field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience with SarbanesOxley (SOX) compliance
- 4 years of project management experience
- Demonstrated experience in IT compliance audit processes and risk assessment
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel Outlook Teams Word PowerPoint)
- Strong communication organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work across all business levels
It would be an asset if you have:
- Finance and Dynamics 365 (F&O) experience
- Experience working with external auditors

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenuebased metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $105000 $115000 USD per year.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
