An AmLaw 50 international law firm is seeking midlevel Real Estate Associates for its Chicago office. The role requires candidates with 46 years of experience particularly in areas of real estate financing lender representation colender/intercreditor agreements and commercial mortgagebacked securities (CMBS).
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a toptier law school with a strong academic record.
- Must be bar certified in Illinois.
- 46 years of experience in real estate law with a focus on financing lender representation and CMBS.
- Excellent verbal writing and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal expertise in real estate financing and lender representation.
- Engage in drafting and negotiating colender and intercreditor agreements.
- Handle legal aspects of commercial mortgagebacked securities.
- Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys on complex real estate transactions.
