Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Engineer to oversee the design and management of compressor station and metering facilities. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations defining project scopes and managing thirdparty engineering firms to deliver highquality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all compressor station and metering facilities are designed in accordance with regulations industry codes and corporate standards.
  • Define the scope schedule and budget for design and materials for projects.
  • Manage the execution of design deliverables by thirdparty engineering firms ensuring adherence to project budgets and schedules.
  • Review and approve design deliverables including drawings technical reports and material listing sheets.
  • Participate in design review meetings with engineering firms Project Managers Operations and Construction personnel to discuss scope design performance and constructability issues.
  • Review vendor material quotations prepare technical evaluations and recommend selections based on technical merit price and delivery.
  • Incorporate lessons learned from past projects into future designs and actively identify and communicate new lessons learned and quality incidents.
  • Support department initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Civil or related Engineering field.
  • 7 years of engineering experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid drivers license verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
  • Ability to work independently manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Problemsolving skills using standards modification of standards and previous experience.
  • Effective communication of technical issues to both technical and nontechnical staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 710 years of natural gas design experience for compressor station and metering facilities.
  • Knowledge of CFR 192 and other relevant codes.
  • Experience with timesensitive deliverables.
  • Strong computer skills particularly with Microsoft Office applications.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to perform tasks such as grasping kneeling light to moderate lifting (up to 20 pounds) reaching repetitive motion typing sitting standing and visual tasks (e.g. screen viewing color detection reading fine print).
  • Ability to understand remember and apply instructions solve complex problems organize thoughts coordinate work schedules and make decisions with moderate impact.

Working Conditions:

  • 80% officebased work with multiple project teams.
  • 20% fieldwork for project scoping procurement construction and commissioning activities.
