Note:We are working hybrid with at least 2 days per week in the office (Temecula CA). During onboarding you will likely need to be 3-4 days per week.

The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining our automated tests building test scenariosand integrating those scenarioswith our CI/CD pipeline for new and existing products based on product and business requirements. Specific tasks include working with development QA and supportto build test scenarios used by our wide variety of clients thenuse these scenarios to create and update automated tests in C# and Cypress .These automated tests will help with both new functionality and regression for existing functionality. We have a large number of clients in varying sizes and approaches so there are no shortage of automate-abletest cases.

Responsibilities

  • Create validate and update end-to-end tests via Cypress
  • Build automations to automatically run and validate end-to-end tests.
  • Create validate and update existing C# integration tests.
  • Build test scenarios and test data in our QA database for new and existing tests.
  • Write applications and scripts to automate repeated tasks and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructure
  • Lead/collaborate on improving developer and engineering teams test coverage release velocity and production health
  • Collaborate with the development support and product management to ensure features work according to specifications and customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience including test automation experience
  • Experience with PowerShell or Bash for automating builds and test suites
  • Experience with C# (or related language)
  • Experience with Cypress (or related UI/scripting library)
  • Experience with MySQL PostgreSQL Microsoft SQL or other relational database
  • BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering Information Systems or equivalent work experience

Bonus experience

  • Experience creatingeffective test plans
  • Experience testing web applications both front and back-end including testing HTMLand Javascript.
  • Experience interacting with APIs (REST SOAP or GraphQL)
  • Familiarity with React JS
  • Familiarity with GitHub and version control.
