Are you a highly organised compliancesavvy professional with experience in continuing professional development (CPD) in the legal or professional services sector We are seeking a Senior Professional Development Coordinator to lead the delivery of our highquality CPD and Education Programme and uphold our commitment to excellence in legal professional development.
About the Role
In this pivotal role you will report to the General Manager Advocacy and Professional Development and coordinate the design delivery and compliance of the Societys CPD and Education Programme. As an accredited QA Provider we offer a diverse range of professional learning opportunities for the legal profession in WA. You will also play a key part in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks including Legal Practice Board requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the Law Societys CPD and Education Programme including live and ondemand seminars.
Ensure full compliance with Legal Practice Board QA Provider requirements.
Oversee the online learning platform and regularly review CPD content.
Liaise with speakers registrants and stakeholders to deliver outstanding events.
Compile data and prepare reports on programme performance and compliance.
Support the development of event materials and promotional content.
Mentor and guide team members to ensure delivery excellence.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience.
Proven track record in CPD event coordination and delivery (legal sector preferred).
Strong understanding of project risk and compliance management principles.
Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Zoom/webinar platforms and LMS publishing.
Desirable
Understanding of the legal profession in Western Australia.
Experience in a memberbased or notforprofit organisation.
