Job Description

Overview:


Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Job Description Summary:


The Child Abuse Prevention Lead Coordinator will serve to provide oversight of daily operations for the Regional Child Abuse Prevention team.


Job Description:


Essential Functions:

  • The Lead Coordinator oversees clinical operations of this team including the development coordination and management of prevention efforts and service delivery which target specific populations in several geographic regions across the state from multiple organizations.
  • Serves as the main contact to the funder and Research Institute to address programmatic and budgetary needs as appropriate.
  • Note: Regular reliable and consistent attendance is an essential job function. Employees are expected to perform work as scheduled. Please see the physical requirements for this position listed below.


Education Requirement:

  • Bachelors Degree in Education Public Health or related healthcare field required.
  • Masters Degree preferred.

Certifications:


Skills:

  • Strong skills in data entry and basic computer skills as well as the ability to multitask are required.
  • Effective customer service communication (oral written presentation) and interpersonal skills required for interaction with internal and external contacts.
  • Professionally appropriate analytical and organizational skills required.
  • Program/project management skills required.


Experience:

  • Two years of Regional Prevention Coordination required.
  • Three years of supervisory experience required.
  • Prior experience in the field of behavioral health preferred.
