Freelance Project Manager

Envisionit an awardwinning digital marketing agency based in Chicago is seeking an experienced freelance Project Manager. Our clients span a number of industries including Travel & Leisure CPG and Emerging Tech and our teams boast many talents across the spectrum of digital. You will work alongside a tightknit bunch of seriously talented people who genuinely like each other have fun and work hard for the collective success. We have a beautiful office overlooking Millennium Park and Lake Michigan that serves as the perfect setting for collaboration in our hybrid environment (12 days in office each week).

The approximate date range for this need is 6/23 10/10 approx. 3040 hours/week. Please also note we are only accepting candidates local to the Chicagoland area for this specific need.

Key functions:

• Manage daytoday internal communication & process; provide crystal clarity to the team through effective comms project briefs status reports and project plans
• Manage the internal team by creating plans scoping managing budgets organizing/communicating tasks and maintaining the project schedule which defines activities deliverables dependencies effort timing and staff needs
• Ensure project delivery is strategically onpoint ontime and on budget
• Be the ultimate point of accountability for quality of work delivered; provide feedback and direction before presenting to clients raise awareness of all project issues/risks and proactively find solutions
• Be the point of escalation and problemsolver to address any challenges that arise providing solutions that meet both client and agency success criteria
• Provide guidance and hard facts to the AD to help them make decisions regarding scope creep and change orders

What were looking for:

• 4 years experience managing a fully integrated marketing campaign from kickoff to flight
• Experience with 2 or more of the following disciplines: paid media website builds creative campaigns leadgen programs
• Passion for crafting enjoyable experiences and knowing how to create a bestinclass client and agency experience
• An innate sense of accountability and effortless ability to drive outcomes
• A critical thinker with a natural ability for thinking strategically asking why and making business decisions a true problemsolver
• An organized individual that is able to help people of diverse skills and personalities stay organized and on track
• Proven ability to push past challenges with a positive attitude
• A team player that is an asset to the agency willing to work on internal initiatives share knowledge and thought leadership in service of education and promoting agency expertise

The pay range for this position is $80 100 USD per hour. This is a goodfaith estimate of the base pay scale for this position and offers will ultimately be determined based on experience education skill set and performance in the interview process.
