What youll do
As a LogisticsSupervisor youll enjoy your work and take pride in delighting our guests andcolleagues:
TeamSupervision: Lead train and motivate the logistics team (promoting teamworkand a high standard of service). Delegate tasks effectively and ensurecompliance with hotel policies.
- Youwill receive check and process delivered goods into the hotel checking goodsagainst delivery information and purchase orders.
- Havea great understanding of what is being delivered
- Youwill liaise constantly with the Hotel Operations and on all aspects ofdeliveries i.e. incorrect or short deliveries.
- Youwill ensure that all the equipment within the department scales trolleyscomputers printers etc. are fully functional and not a safety hazard. Toreport immediately should this not be the case.
- Ensuringthat the loading bay and loading bay ramp area are kept clean hygienic tidyand safe to work in at all times.
- Recognise and maintain good relations with allcolleagues suppliers & visitors
- Posting Food and Non Food invoices anddelivery notes.
- Complete weekly rota and timesheet.
- Hotel Storage internal and external(currently PPM) to coordinate collection and delivery of ad hoc items.
- Ensure that Loading Bay Cellar Storesand Vans staffing level is monitored so that areas are covered in line withbusiness requirements
- Keep all team training is up to date
- Ensure smooth running of daily cellaroperations including Events
- Coordinate Van schedules and drivers

Theoperational hours of work are shiftbased and may be subjected to change. Thesecurrently set as:
- Monday toFriday: 07:00 16:30
- Saturdayand Sunday: 07:00 15:30
- Events 7days Depending on events until after midnight
What youll bring
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previousexperience in Cellars and Loading bay within a large Hotel at least 3 yearsperforming a range of tasks.
- Be computer literate.
- Holds a valid UK drivers license
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in Adaco Fourth and Docuware
