The Opportunity:
This post is 60% FTE and is based in the Metabolism Diabetes and Obesity Theme in the Centre for Cardiovascular Science and the Clinical Research Facility in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
This exciting opportunity is fora clinical trials manager in aclinical study on hypoglycaemia in participants with type 1 will work with an experienced and supportive research team led by Professor Shareen Forbes at the University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian to ensure the implementation of all aspects of this study including obtaining regulatory approvals supporting participant recruitment and final report writing. You may also supervise staff at the study site and undertake quality control responsibilities including site monitoring. Your knowledge and management skills will be crucial to the success of this research project.
This post is 100% on campus but hybrid options may be considered. PVG check will be required for this role.
The salary for this post is40497 to 48149per annum.
