POSITION INTERMEDIATE/SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

Role description:
Our Toronto Studio is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Intermediate or Senior Landscape Architect.
As a member of this Team you will focus on infrastructureled projects in tandem with projects that have an environmental restoration and active transportation component.
At Arcadis we have projects that are rich and varied providing support to our inhouse disciplines to create sustainable and environmentally responsible design solutions that include naturalization and active transportation. Role accountabilities:
- Lead collaborate with and mentor junior staff in delivering coordinated landscape submissions in accordance with project delivery schedules and requirements
- Independently manage and lead multidisciplinary teams and assist with project completion from the bid phase to detailed design and contract documents
- Engage with and manage Clients/Stakeholders and ensure deadlines and budgetary constraints are met for all projects
- Present highquality graphic presentations detailed design schemes and reports
Qualifications & Experience:
- A bachelors or masters degree from an accredited institution within the field of Landscape Architecture
- A minimum of 8 years (postgraduation) of relevant working experience in a professional design firm with proven experience leading and managing teams
- Previous experience working within large multidisciplinary teams as part of a project delivery system (P3) that includes project agreements projectspecific output specifications and schedules for infrastructureled projects such as rail or roadway is considered an asset
- Multidisciplinary interests in Landscape Architecture Urban Design Active Transportation Planning Transportation Planning and Environmental Restoration including a strong awareness/understanding of current issues in design and sustainability
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical skills: AutoCAD Revit MicroStation ArcGIS MS Office etc
- Certification from the International Society of Arboriculture is considered an asset
