About Biolyz:
Biolyz is a rapidly growing startup specializing in biomarker analysis to help athletes and sports organizations optimize performance and overall health. Based in Austria we collaborate with top soccer clubs and highlevel sports organizations offering a fastpaced innovative environment where your expertise can have a real impact.
We are actively seeking a LCMS Lab Head in NRW Germany to bring their unique blend of talents to our dynamic team.
Tasks
Your Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the laboratory team ensuring efficient workflows to meet tight timelines and release of highquality results
- Overseeing LCMS operations supporting troubleshooting and method optimization
- Ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) ownership of quality management system and active contribution to fulfill regulatory requirements
- Supervising data analysis and interpretation ensuring accurate and reliable results
- Managing laboratory resources including inventory and Laboratory Information Management System documentation
- Training and mentoring junior members of staff fostering professional growth and collaboration
- Coordinating schedules and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines effectively
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement in analytical workflows
Requirements
Your Profile
- Masters or PhD in Chemistry Analytical Chemistry Bioanalytics or a related field
- Proven experience in leading a laboratory team in an commercial (preferred) or research setting
- Strong expertise in LCMS techniques (including microLC) including troubleshooting method development and validation
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and outside organizations
- Detailoriented approach with a focus on quality compliance and efficiency
- Handson experience with LIMS and laboratory inventory management
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with Shimadzu and Sciex Hardware is a musthave.
- Willing to do shift work and travel.
