Job Description

Description
Responsibilities
Develops and implements the data architecture for application development in a complex and distributed environment including the determination of the flow and distribution of data the location of databases and data access methods.
Skills
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Technical Skills 30:
- Experience creating physical database designs and operates and experience administering database management systems (DBMS) including database optimization capacity planning installation and migration database design performance tuning backup and recovery
- Experience cloud environments especially Azure
- Extensive hands on experience in Azure SQL Database experience proficiency in TSQL understanding of SQL maintenance and audit user and permissions management performance management and tuning
- Hands on experience with the following technologies certifications are an asset: Azure Data Factories Databricks Azure Synapse Azure SQL Cosmos DB Oracle DBMS along with Big Data/Data Lake/Hadoop experience
- Hands on experience and nbsp;with SSIS SSRS Talend Informatica etc.
- Hands on experience and nbsp;working with NoSQL databases and formats (JSON xml)
Experience 30:
- Experience in one or more programming languages
- Experience with custom build cloud development and microservices based architecture
- Experience with data migrations
- Experience in the use of information retrieval packages and proficiency with query languages
- Experience in monitoring and enforcing database rules
- Experience in Incident Change and Configuration Management procedures
- Experience with one or more communications protocols
- Experience with distributed data systems
- Experience with middleware and gateways
- Experience with researching and implementing cyber security vulnerability remediation
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices
- Extensive experience in production Database Administration Maintenance Optimization
- Subject matter expert in database design of the data warehouse or data marts.
- Experience and expert knowledge in technology and/or application required including installation configuration maintenance upgrade (technology stack) and cloning
- Experience in designing/developing an automated data distribution mechanisms
- Knowledge and understanding of objectoriented analysis and design techniques.
- Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) based
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices
- Experience in impact analysis implementation planning and implementation of technology or suite specific patches maintenance packs and releases and technology stack patch sets and releases
- Experience in technical design planning and implementation of specific technology or suite
- Experience with database administration and working with vendors
Communication Skills 10
- Strong communication skills to prepare documentation including but not limited to: solution documentation user manuals reports reviews assessments and nbsp;
- Ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively and in a userfriendly manner; maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients
- Ability to communicate technical designs and development in clear and understandable manner
