QSourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania Uganda Kenya Rwanda and South Sudan. We are looking for a competent and innovative Environmental Health & Safety Executive to join our team.
Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Executive
Reports To: Quality and Admin manager
Job Purpose
The EHS Officer will be responsible for the entities safety development and implementation of EHS services as a business line.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Develop an EHS enforcement and monitoring mechanism to ensure total compliance to regulatory and industry standards.
Carryout regular periodic reviews of all EHS documentation and obtain timely approval of the same.
Responsible for PPE management in collaboration with respective Project/Account Managers.
Review the maintenance schedule of the company safety equipment including the First Aid Box fire extinguishers.
Oversee tool box meetings and give appropriate feedback to management and staff.
Develop and implement a comprehensive EHS training program for head office and projects staff.
Conduct quarterly evaluation on EHS awareness and compliance.
Develop EHS policies and procedures to align corporate EHS goals and strategies.
Develop and maintain effective emergency response mechanisms for all project sites.
Collaborate with the IT teams to digitize EHS related tools and mechanisms including but not limited to Surveys Incident/accident reports Corrective Action tools Safety Manuals and Reports.
Generate and maintain company EHS data and periodically report the statuesque.
In close consultation with the IT Officers integrate EHS management with the ERP.
Develop and package EHS solutions specific to various industries for marketing as an additional service.
Build and maintain positive relationships with regulators partners consultants and clients.
Prepare and ensure efficient implementation of EHS annual budgets.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelors in a relevant discipline.
Certificate in EHS from a recognized institution.
Experience:
Minimum of three years (3) relevant experience in the HSE operations.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
Attention to detail analytical and problem solver.
