Job Description
The Senior Lead/Lead DevOps Engineer position demands a high level of expertise and commitment to excellence in the field of DevOps.
Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the DevOps domain.
- Spearheading the design development deployment and maintenance of new and existing tooling/automation solutions to enhance IFSs operational platform reliability and efficiency.
- Driving forward automation initiatives in the Build and Deployment sector whilst ensuring the continued robustness of daily operations.
- Implementing industrystandard DevOps best practices and tools to facilitate continuous integration testing and deployments.
- Leveraging advanced technical expertise to support the entire IFS organisation in developing services that are consistently deployable and testable with a high degree of automation.
- Exhibiting an unwavering commitment to service and process quality taking proactive measures to prevent issues and resolve them expeditiously when they arise.
- Continuously expanding process and technical domain knowledge and disseminating this expertise to guide and elevate team performance.
Qualifications :
You will have knowledge/skills in the following areas.
- A degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or Information Technology along with a minimum 5 years experience in similar roles.
- Knowledge in IFS Cloud along with application build and deployment. (For internal IFS Applicants only)
- Extensive Operational experience in Docker Kubernetes
- Extensive scripting experience in Terraform PowerShell Ansible Python or similar
- Strong understanding of Linux
- Exposure to GIT Bitbucket GitLab and Azure Pipelines
- Operational experience in Cloud monitoring Infrastructure monitoring Application monitoring and Database monitoring
- Cloud resource management (K8s AKS Scalability of cloud resources)
- Experience in Rook Ceph storage and monitoring solutions like Prometheus Grafana will be an added advantage
- Experience in Linux
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills along with an innovative mindset
