Job Description
Join our CIMA Labrador City office reporting to project engineers and the project manager on both greenfield and brownfield projects! The approximate duration for this work placement will be 4 months.
Primary Responsibilities
- Complete site visits to document existing conditions in both greenfield and brownfield heavy industrial projects
- Assist in electrical detailed design / analysis (related to electrical layouts single line diagrams connection/ wiring drawings load calculations etc.) for major utility/industrial clients.
- Participate in detailed drawing review and markup for designers / drafters.
- Produce construction documents such as scope of work bill of materials and schedules
- Complete projects from Kickoff through completion of Construction / Commissioning
Qualifications :
- Enrolled in an electrical engineering program
- Valid Canadian Drivers License is required
- Passing prehire fitness for work (i.e. medical test)
Compensation and Advantages
The salary for this position ranges from $23.75 to $29.40 per hour depending on your academic profile the number of credits earned and your previous coop or internship experience. The final offer and salary may be adjusted based on your unique profile. Remuneration will include:
- Air travel to and from Labrador City will be provided at the start and end of the work term
- Company vehicle will be provided throughout the work term (shared)
- Accommodations will be provided in Labrador West
- A per diem will be provided according to company policy
