- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of Materials Management experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- SAP experience (or other ERP Experience)
- Strong knowledge of Inventory Management practices and theory of Supply and Demand
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Business field or manufacturing experience
- Highly collaborative and ability to communicate (oral written listen) at all levels within the organization
- Strong experience in Microsoft Office suite (Excel Outlook Access Word Power Point etc.)
- Customeroriented and focused (both internal and external customers)
- Strong interpersonal written verbal and electronic communication skills

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual meritincrease program and we are targeting a salary range of $62884$94256 based on your level of skills qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Weyerhaeuser Holden is looking for a proactive experienced professional materials managerwho has a passion for accurate inventory control getting the right parts at the right time improving KPI performance and reducing inventory costs. You will play an important role of supporting mill operations and partnering with teams across Weyerhaeuser supporting Operations Procurement Lead Team mill maintenance and operations and other functional teams.
In this roleyour primary responsibility will be to support mill uptime reliability by ordering stocked parts and support our Operations Procurement strategy. You will do this by aligning your efforts with mill goals Wood Products goals Operations Procurement strategy and roadmap company vision operational excellence and reliability initiatives. To be successful in this role you will build relationships and partners with the Procurement Lead Team mill leadership mill buyer mill storeroom maintenance planning & scheduling and other stakeholders within WP.
Primary Responsibilities:
ALIGNMENT
- Perform the function in accordance with Operations Procurement Lead Team guidance policies and procedures
- Align and support with Mill leadership maintenance engineering safety finance and overall business strategy goals and objectives
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders
FUNCTIONAL
- Issue Purchase Orders to replenish stocked parts inventory from trusted business partners (or rebuild/repair items) confirming delivery dates in the Purchase Order
- Oversee new Material Master requests and ensure stocked items are approved and connected to the appropriate Bill of Materials
- Maintain inventory accuracy through continuous monitoring of inventory levels cyclical reports cycle counts and ensuring appropriate storeroom access controls are in place
- Maintain accurate Material Master supplier lead times and appropriate minimum and maximum levels for every part. Reporting and performing necessary record updates on a monthly basis
- Responsible for Picking & Kitting work/delegation. Pick and collect parts by work order issue parts to the WO and place kitted work orders in the designated area
- Manage the Storeroom workspace by maintaining a clean and organized environment ensuring shelves and parts are properly labeled ensuring parts are stored according to best practices ensuring motors/gears shafts are rotated per reliability procedures and maintaining accurate record keeping
- Utilize Operations Procurements strategic contracts and provide feedback when those contracts can be improved if better value is found
- Actively pursue lower cost opportunities to generate savingsfor the organization.
- Maintain a high level of OnTimeDelivery by effective use of Purchase Order management and Supplier Performance Management
- Function as backup personnel to mill buyer
- Coordinate with Maintenance Planners to ensure accurate work order scheduling and timely work order completion
- Monitor storeroom access and prohibit materials from being removed from the storeroom area without following proper procedure
- Participate in audits of storeroom when required
PROCEDURAL
- Follow Procurement & Materials Management best practices and transactional discipline within SAP with good data entry complying with processes and procedures as outlined by Operations Procurement Lead Team
- Ensure Vendor Managed Inventory has the appropriate minimum and maximum levels of replenishment review the appropriate parts are included and revise instructions to vendor on a cyclical basis to ensure continued alignment
- Effective use of Scheduling Agreements including transmitting to suppliers
- Discrepancy and issue resolution to address shortages receiving counts and follow RMA/RGA process to send nonconforming material back to suppliers
TRANSACTIONAL
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping of the Storeroom receiving and shipping which includes both SAP transactions and physical paperwork
- Resolve invoices that require intervention within SAPs Work Cycle tool
- Maintains accurate data (including part numbers prices quantities dates and other instructions) for all Purchase Orders and Scheduling Agreements individually issued including cleanup and closeout
- Resolves inventory discrepancies by utilizing root cause analysis method to minimize and eliminate inventory adjustments over time communicate and train stakeholders on preventive and corrective actions
- Collaborate with Site Buyer to identify and dispose of surplus and obsolete inventory maintaining appropriate material movement transactions
- Accountable for the performance training and safety of storeroom personnel
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively throughout work shift
PERFORMANCE
- Ensure every purchase order and contract issued supports safe mill operation (suppliers or contractors safety record) and maximizes mill uptime reliability (reliable on time deliveries)
- Provide continuous efforts to support improve and maximize mill Procurement and Storeroom Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Maintain the Goods Receipt Invoice resolution (GRIR) file with zero aged Goods Receipts/Service Entries without a posted invoice past 120 days
- Support Capital Projects with Procurement assigned tasks in accordance with Operations Procurement procedures
TRAINING
- Pursue and satisfactorily complete training curriculum assigned by Operations Procurement Lead team or other functional areas (Ethics & Compliance HR IT Security Import/Export Finance etc.)
- Complete assigned selfassessment exercises
- Provide training to local new hires
