About Sales Strategy & Operations
As a Sales Strategy & Operations team our mission is to power sustainable revenue growth for Pinterest with datadriven strategic insights and decision making tight management against them and highimpact revenue management. As we inform critical business decisions driving revenue growth members of the team are highly visible to senior Sales Leadership at Pinterest and throughout the organization at large.
What youll do:
- Leveraging your expertise in strategy analysis and operations you will partner closely with the VP of Global Agency Sales & the VP of Programmatic Advertising and their leadership teams to define bold strategic revenue initiatives to rapidly grow our business and drive action and accountability against those across functional lines.
- You will define the ambition and vision challenge what is and be a strong advocate for the changes and resources needed to turbocharge revenue growth.
- This role is for a builder at heart. You will help build our Programmatic business and our Agency business to their full potential connect the dots between them and build the Agency & Programmatic Sales Strategy & Operations muscle and team. You are a bold and structured thinker who is also pragmatic and resultsoriented.
- Reporting to the VP of Sales Strategy Operations & Enablement and with a strong partnership with the VP of Agency Sales and the VP of Programmatic Advertising this role requires a strategic collaborative and influential leader who can drive strategy development operational rigor crossfunctional alignment and global inclusive thinking.
- Partner with global Agency Sales and Programmatic Advertising leadership to proactively identify develop and deploy critical revenue growth initiatives bringing structure to key opportunities.
- Spell out key crossfunctional needs to support the growth of our Agency and Programmatic business and advocate for/ensure progress against those.
- Define goals for the Agency Sales and Programmatic Advertising organizations with input from global and regional sales leaders and monitor/drive progress against those goals.
- Structure and drive the ongoing analysis of the Agency & Programmatic business to identify opportunities risks and gaps with weekly business reviews and ad hoc deep dives.
- Inform decision making on Agency & Programmatic priorities with quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Clearly present complex insights about the business and recommended solutions and share progress with top Sales and company leadership.
- Set the advertiser/agency segmentation approach to inform our Agency tiered service model and account prioritization.
- Set the strategic agenda of the Agency & Programmatic SSO team and define what is needed to serve the needs of the business.
- Build up and manage a highperforming team.
Who were looking for:
- 15 years of professional experience in strategy & operations in highly analytical and demanding environments such as management consulting investment banking or tech/media companies.
- Proven ability to be successful in a complex fastpaced environment.
- Thorough understanding of the digital ad sales programmatic and agency ecosystem to inform key strategic choices; direct experience in Sales Strategy & Operations strongly preferred.
- Exceptional proficiency working with large datasets (proficiency with Tableau SQL a plus) and expert at translating complex data into clear actionable insights and compelling stories.
- Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders to drive innovation and outcomes.
- Tshaped leader with depth of skill in strategy & operations and the ability to work crossfunctionally.
- Track record of building and leading a team of toptalent strategy & analysis professionals with an eye for what is needed to deliver bold outcomes.
- A builder excited to roll up their sleeves and be a strong playercoach while building their team.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as business economics statistics or a related field or equivalent experience.

- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means were not always working in an office but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for inperson collaboration approximately one day per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from the Pinterest New York City or Chicago offices.
