Job Summary:
Location: Methodist CollegeResponsibilities:
Content Research and Gathering 30%
Research and stay up to date on the latest developments in terms of search engine optimization content trends target behaviors and competitive landscape (regional and national). Represent NMC Marketing across internal student faculty and administrative groups clubs and events to gather and promote timely content: copy still imagery and video.
Owned Social Production 40%
Manage strategic planning of the annual calendar for NMCs owned media channels (including but not limited to: Instagram TikTok LinkedIn Facebook and YouTube). Create curate and optimize content that is on time on budget and errorfree. Work with the creative team to produce content that meets brand and campaign standards and uses an inclusive design philosophy.
Special Initiative Writing Beyond Digital Channels 20%
Serve as the lead writer for special initiatives beyond social media channels including writing for video email web and print materials. Collaborate with subject matter experts and other team members to produce highquality informative and engaging content.
Marketing Operations 10%
Oversee consistency of NMCs voice per channel. Manage content QA/QC oversee the development and launch of new content channels and track content analytics specific to social (by campaign by channel monthly). Partner with the Director of Marketing to align content themes with quarterly and annual goals and adjust strategies as needed for optimal results.

Job Description:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Digital Marketing Communications or a related field required.
Experience:
5 years of experience with digital content creation required.
Proven experience as a content strategist or content marketer required.
License/Certification:

Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with the companys marketing objectives and target audience.
Exceptional writing editing and storytelling skills.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices.
