You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailReporting to the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Student Experience the Manager Strategic Initiatives & Operations plays a key role in providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the AVP Executive Director and full Student Affairs leadership team. The Manager will manage a broad range of tasks that include assisting with budget development and management support for human resources processes collecting analyzing and interpreting data related to Student Affairs operations strategic initiative project management & preparing reports presentations and documents including grant funding and proposal development. Additionally the Manager will focus on identifying process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in Student Affairs operations developing and implementing process improvements and workflows to enhance leadership efficiency. This role will also supervise staff with responsibilities for administrative tasks associated with payroll event coordination and marketing for Student Affairs department.

The successful candidate will also meet the following qualifications:
4year Bachelors degree in Commerce; Business Administration Accounting Finance Human Resources or related field.
5 years of experience assisting in budget planning/preparation tracking/monitoring expenditures and financial reporting preferably in a postsecondary environment. (Equivalency to be considered).
Ability to collect analyze and interpret data to identify patterns/trends to support leadership decisions.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including managing large data sets creating pivot tables conducting sorts etc.
Project Management designation Business Analysis/Analyst designation will be considered an asset
Microsoft Excel training.
Tableau training (or other data visualization tools) will be considered an asset.
