Summary:
Dolby is a global leader in delivering unique audio and imaging solutions to millions of users worldwide. We influence the way people create and experience audio and video. The impact of our work is visible throughout the entertainment industry. In the internship role you will become familiar with Dolby technologies in consumer entertainment devices. You will be a member of a highly specialized team responsible for porting and optimizing Dolby audio technologies to embedded platforms (e.g. ARM DSPs). You will contribute to optimization and porting efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Porting of stateoftheart Dolby audio technologies from reference C code to embedded platforms
- Performance benchmarking and functional verification of optimized codePerformance bottlenecks analysis
- Performance measurement automation (Python)
- Code optimizations with use of SIMD instructions (vectorization).
Qualifications:
- Interest in writing efficient code and performance tweaking
- Low levelC programmingunder Linux environment
- Basic Python skills
- Good command of English.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with signal processing algorithms.
