Ensure reliable 24/7 support for all server infrastructure systems.
Follow best practices for managing systems across all environments.
Work closely with global team members to provide aroundtheclock support.
Install and manage software updates patches and fixes on servers.
Write or modify scripts to automate routine tasks.
Suggest and implement improvements to enhance system stability security and performance.
Help design and execute automation and streamlined deployment processes.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity (BCP) drills.
Manage physical servers remotely.
Maintain and manage virtual machines in both internal (ESX) and cloud environments.
Build and configure new serversboth physical and virtualfollowing company standards.
Collaborate with teams including Development Support Innovation and Project Management.
Support planned weekend maintenance activities when needed.
Be available for oncall support outside regular hours if required.
What Were Looking For
A Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or a related field.
Handson experience with VMware and Windows System Administration.
Experience with both Linux (Red Hat) and Windows environments including physical and virtual setups.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Practical experience in deploying and setting up physical and virtual servers.
Good communication skills and a mindset for continuous learning and improvement.
A team player whos curious proactive and enjoys collaboration.
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
Familiarity with HPE or other server hardware.
Experience with scripting languages like Shell Perl or Python for automation.
Knowledge of Veritas Cluster and Veritas Storage Foundation.
Understanding of cloud platforms especially AWS.
Certifications in ITIL v3 project management or Linux (e.g. RHCT RHCE).
