About the RoleReporting to a Product Owner the Intern Talent serves as a key member of the talent team and an active participant in facilitating excellent client relationships and industry partnerships within the organization. The Intern Talent acts as an invaluable team resource for supporting endtoend logistics of program and product delivery. The Intern Talent plays a crucial role in supporting the teams activities related to administration event management program onboarding and community engagement. This 8month internship program will provide the successful candidate with handson experience skill development and exposure to the fastgrowing AI research and industry ecosystem.

The Intern Talent also undertakes specific but limited planning roles when opportunities arise that are aligned with their skillset and growth plans.
Required Skills / ExpertiseKey Responsibilities:One of Canadas three main institutes for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning our worldrenowned researchers drive fundamental and applied research at the University of Alberta (and other academic institutions) training some of the worlds top scientific talent. Our crossfunctional teams work collaboratively with Albertabased businesses and organizations to build AI capacity and translate scientific advancement into industry adoption and economic impact.
