Description
Job Title: Cardinal Store Sales Associate
Reports to: Cardinal Store Manager
Summary: Cardinal Store Sales Associate is responsible for selling school uniforms spirit wear and concessions while providing pleasant customer service to those shopping in the store.
Duties Include: Assisting customers on the sales floor and at cash registers; reconciling cash registers at the end of shift and making certain the concession shelves are restocked at the conclusion of the day. Will need to pick up ChickfilA biscuits to sell two mornings per week before the store opens. Will prepare smoothietype drinks and cookies for customers as needed.
Performance Responsibilities
Welcome customers
Operate cash register; handle cash checks credit cards andstudent accounts
Reconciliation of cash drawer with cash and media at the end of the day
Communicate knowledge of uniform requirements and sizing
Restock inventory as needed
Maintain the cleanliness and neat appearance of the store
Maintain North Richland Hills Food Handler Permit
Annual participation in counting store inventory levels
Skills
Have knowledge of the products that are sold in the Cardinal Store.
Ability to run a cash register.
Friendly with customer service orientation
Must take initiative to perform needed tasks
Be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail experience is preferred
Commitment to living and teaching a life of service to Christ in accordance with the FWC Statement of Faithand Beliefs
Working Environment
The job will require the ability to stand for a long period of time during shifts. Should be able to lift for restocking inventory as needed.
