You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Home Health Clinical Manager oversees the delivery of highquality patient care in a home health setting. This role involves managing clinical staff ensuring compliance with regulations and coordinating care to meet patient needs. The Clinical Manager acts as a leader mentor and liaison between staff patients and administration.
Staff Supervision: Manage and support a team of nurses therapists and aides including hiring training scheduling and performance evaluations.
Care Coordination: Oversee patient care plans ensuring individualized effective and timely interventions in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal state and local regulations as well as agency policies including Medicare/Medicaid standards and Joint Commission accreditation.
Quality Assurance: Monitor clinical outcomes conduct audits and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
Patient Advocacy: Address patient and family concerns ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
Documentation: Review and approve clinical documentation for accuracy completeness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Budget Oversight: Assist in managing departmental budgets optimizing resources while maintaining care standards.
Education and Training: Provide ongoing staff education on clinical best practices new regulations and agency protocols.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with administrative staff case managers and external partners to streamline operations and improve patient outcomes.
Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience: Minimum of 23 years of clinical experience in home health or related field supervisory or management role.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of home health regulations and reimbursement processes (e.g. Medicare Medicaid).
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical software.
Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Certifications: Home Health Care Certification (preferred); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
