Our Building Services Team is Growing!
Arcadis is excited to announce an opportunity for aSenior Mechanical Engineerto join our expanding Building Services team in our Places business. We operate as a national team so are open to people located across Melbourne Sydney and Brisbane.
We have consistent growth and a portfolio of diverse impactful projects. Our focus markets for our Building Services Places business include; health education & research station & over station developments precincts data centres and the energy transition.
We are looking for people who are keen to collaborate with industryleading professionals while shaping the future of engineering.
Role accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Reporting to the National Mechanical Team Lead you will:
- Undertake the discipline lead role on project tasks to meetbudget timeframe and quality targets exceeding client expectations.
- Engage with our clients to understand their needs and develop design strategies that align with their requirements.
- Collaborate across design disciplines to ensureintegrity and qualityin overall designs.
- Promote and market Arcadis services during client and stakeholder interactions.
- Build networks and relationships within the industry.
- Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to team members.
- Prepare and register documentation ensuring compliance with Arcadis standards.
- Maintain communication with Project Managers Team Leaders and clients.
- Engage inContinuous Professional Development (CPD).
- Perform investigations analysis and design tasks in line with client requirements and standards.
- Ensure all designs meetnational codes of practiceand Arcadis specifications.
- Review completed engineering work for accuracy.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and innovations.
- Ensure compliance withHealth and Safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
Were seeking energetic individuals with a commitment to excellence and innovation. Youll need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications inMechanical Engineering.
- At least7 years of experiencedelivering engineering projects.
- CPEng registration and state professional registration are required
- Experience with leading Mechanical design from concept to construction
- Experience with Health Education Infrastructure or Data Centreprojects is desired.
- Experience with leading and managing Mechanical design teams within both an internal business and external project environment.
- Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills both internally and externally.
- A passion for thinking in aninnovative and entrepreneurial manner.
- Client/internal project management experience
