The Program Coordinator provides training coordination to the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities (MCDD). This will include serving on the MCDDs leadership team as a central resource regarding training systems developing and evaluating new training projects and funding serving as a central contact regarding training for the MCDDs external partners overall coordination of all training activities technical assistance trainees from universities training technology and training data.
1. Serve on the MCDDs leadership team regarding training systems and adult learning
2. Identify sources of funding for new MCDD training initiatives.
3. Coordinate MCDD community professional development and continuing education training program activities (including summer learning series).
4. Coordinate all of the MCDDs training initiatives serving as a central contact for external partners.
5. Coordinate meetings trainings technical assistance data entry technology and any other aspects of trainings as necessary.
6. Coordinate onboarding calendar management and data input for all trainees with the MCDDs collaborating institutes including Johns Hopkins University of Maryland and Towson University.
7. Coordinate all training technology for the MCDD staff as well as MCDD grants and contracts particularly database management software and products such as Apricot.
8. Ensure the timely entry of all training technical assistance and other meetings and evaluation data into the MCDDs National Information Reporting system.
9. Collaborate with the Director of Training to collect and produce a variety of regular and ad hoc training data analyses and reports for grants and contracts.
10. Coordinate the development and implementation of new MCDD training grants contracts and projects as needed.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree required preferably in public health psychology or social work.
Masters degree in public health psychology or social work is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three years of administrative experience is required preferably in a health care setting and with persons with developmental disabilities.
