We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing commercial team. This is an opportunity to join a cuttingedge biotech startup and play a crucial role in expanding our customer base across North America.
Your Role
As a Sales Development Representative youll be the first point of contact for prospective customers understanding their needs introducing them to SYNTAX and setting the stage for successful partnerships. Youll work handinhand with field sales to drive growth and revenue.
What Youll Do
- Qualify inbound leads and conduct targeted outbound outreach
- Engage prospects via phone email and virtual demos
- Translate complex molecular biology concepts into customerfocused solutions
- Collaborate with sales marketing and technical teams to deliver value
- Maintain clean accurate CRM data to support pipeline growth
You Bring
- Bachelors in Biology Molecular Biology Biochemistry or related field
- 2 years lab experience (e.g. synthetic biology genomics qPCR NGS); sales experience a plus
- Ability to quickly grasp and explain technical concepts
- Excellent communication skills confident curious and persuasive
- Selfstarter mindset with a strong drive to exceed goals
Bonus Points For
- Experience in life science sales or inside sales roles
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead generation platforms
- Passion for biotech innovation and a startup mentality
