Job Description
Join the ServiceChannel Finance team as a Financial & Planning Analyst! This role provides a career building experience that includes partnering with functional leaders across the organization on monthly financial close and forecast processes and deepdive analyses that supports business understanding all while working within an environment that strives for continuous improvement and provides rich career growth opportunity working closely with senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a finance business partner with senior functional leaders & teams providing financial guidance and assisting them with management of their budget center & interpretation of results
- Use prior work experience and best practices to identify and drive operational improvements
- Ensure the business is reporting and tracking to its key performance indicators and business drivers
- Produces reports and templates analyzes and reports information to support financial decision making
- Prepares monthly close and forecast reports statistics and analysis. Completes ad hoc analysis and special project investigations as necessary
- Conducts growth and margin analysis
- Integral contributor to annual budgeting
- Communicates and coordinates with various members of the organization to ensure accuracy of systems and reporting
- Improve and sustain delivery and quality metrics associated with Fortive reporting
- Maintaining a close alignment with Fortive Finance to coordinate financial projects and programs
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
- 2 3 years of Accounting/Finance experience
- Expert Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office. NetSuite or related ERP systems experience a plus
- Occasional extended hours. Minimal Travel
