25OTH28 Literacy and Numeracy Instructors

LOCATION: Onsite: College Heights SS 371 College Ave W Guelph and/or Dufferin County TBD

DATES & HOURS: July 3 2025 to July 12 2025; 8:30 a.m. 11:15 a.m. and/or 12:00 p.m. 2:45 p.m. (2.5 or 5.5 hrs)

RATE of PAY: $62.66/hour

JOB SUMMARY:

The successful applicant(s) will work with the Summer School Supervisor to deliver Grade 6 7 and 8 remedial programs in the areas of Literacy & Numeracy including:

Assist plan organize and deliver a virtual program that is based on the needs of the students enrolled in the programs

Maintain a positive rapport with students parents colleagues and administration

Respond to the needs of the class and report on student progress

Coordinate with special education support personnel also working with students

Provide a summary report to parents and home schools of students progress

REQUIREMENTS:

Currently a qualified Intermediate Teacher with a strong knowledge of Grade 6 7 and 8 Language and Mathematics expectations
