Meet: A leading healthcare company
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office) Docklands
Fixed Term Contract: 12month FTC (potential view to permanent)
The Story
Our client is a respected leader in the healthcare industry that continues to embark on acquisitions and growth. As they expand they need to continue to uplift and transform technology across the business. Their Service Assurance team has significantly reduced monthly incidents and completed DR testing for most of their warehouses creating a positive and efficient work environment focused on continuous improvement to support this growth trajectory.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join as a Technical Business Analyst in the Service Assurance team for a 12month fixedterm contract with the potential to transition to permanent. Youll be working alongside a collaborative team across the infrastructure domain.
Youll be responsible for:
- Supporting both the Disaster Recovery and Backup Uplift Project as well as the development and management of the Service Catalogue
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements analyse current processes and ensure that the service catalogue reflects key elements such as SLAs ownership and dependencies
- Maintaining an accurate uptodate service catalogue ensuring it aligns with business needs and supports the service catalogue management process
- Leading initiatives around Configuration Management Database (CMDB) improvements
- Starting at the leadership level with application owners and working down into technical groups to gather requirements
- Ensuring all critical components are properly documented in the CMDB with clear ownership
- Supporting DR capability planning and testing across infrastructure components
- Contributing to the reduction of monthly incidents
What You Bring To The Role
- Minimum 57 years of business analysis experience preferably within IT service catalogue management or disaster recovery projects
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) practices including change release and service level management
- Strong knowledge of disaster recovery and backup processes with an emphasis on aligning these with the service catalogue
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand IT infrastructure components
- Selfsufficiency and critical thinking abilities you can work independently and find the right people to talk to
- Experience with CMDB DR planning and ITIL processes
- Ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Knowledge of IT service management tools
- Understanding of monitoring tools like Splunk would be advantageous
