Purpose
Provide a Christlike first impression to the Mission Center. Responsible for performing clerical tasks within an office setting to support daily operations.
Essential Functions & Duties Conduct all business in a Christlike manner exhibiting an excellent first impression to parishioners and visitors alike when answering the telephone interacting with other staff and receiving visitors. Answer and direct all phone calls and messages Answers questions about the church and provides callers with address directions and other information. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Provide secretarial services to the Mission Direct & Mission Support staff and perform general office duties Assist visitors with completing parish registration baptism wedding and funeral forms scheduling mass intentions distribution of keys etc. Process incoming and outgoing mail. Prepares bulk mailings as needed. Ensures the timely opening and secure closing of the office each day. Maintain all copy machines and printers along with maintaining hospitality areas and supplies. Manage Parish data base removing inactive parishioners Maintain parish email inbox and phone messages. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits:Starting Wage is $12.00 to $15.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience.
