Job Description
FAMILY VISITATION SPECIALIST (PartTime)
WORK SCHEDULE: This is a parttime position working 1215 hours per week. Shifts include two evenings and every other weekend. Evening hours during the week are 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Weekend hours are Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An associate bachelors degree or several years of relevant experience required.
COMPENSATION: Hourly range is $18.83 $28.24 depending on education and experience. Holiday pay when working CVIC observed holidays. This is a nonbenefited position.
SUPERVISED BY: Director of Visitation and Exchange
CLASSIFICATION: NonExempt
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures compliance with policies procedures and standards of practice.
Coordinates and monitors supervised visitation and exchanges.
Documents observations of each visitation and exchange service.- Conducts intake interviews with all custodial and visiting adults.
Acts as a liaison between custodial and visiting adults and their attorneys.
Trains and assists volunteers providing services to the Kids First Program.
Participates in collaboration with the courts attorneys state networking office social service agencies law enforcement and human service agencies. Furnishes judges attorneys and clients with requested reports and correspondence.
Participates in keeping the facility clean organized and in good working condition.
Completes special projects as assigned.
