This is more than just a job it is a chance to make a tangible difference in childrens lives helping them adjust to family changes feel less isolated and better understand their emotions. You will also empower parents to build healthier coparenting strategies in a safe supportive environment.

What can you expect to be doing

  • Delivering psychoeducational and therapeutic group work for adults and children including tailored oneonone support as required.
  • Developing delivering and evaluating individual and group services for children and their parents addressing diverse needs.
  • Establish and maintain referral points and network contacts.
  • Building effective relationships with families team members and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Providing accurate and timely reports and evaluations to support program success.

Youll have the opportunity to lead group services and assist parents navigating highconflict situations.

Occasionally some afterhours work and metropolitan travel (to our other sites at Elizabeth or Christies Beach) will be required.

What do you need to bring

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent (essential).
  • Postgraduate qualifications in social work psychology adult education counselling or family dispute resolution (desirable).
  • Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the AttorneyGenerals Department (desirable).
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable).
  • Proven experience delivering group and individual support to families and children in highconflict situations.
