Business & Technical Analysis Sr. Manager – Industrial Automation

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Business & Technical Analysis Senior Manager is a strategic leader who effectively cascades functional strategy impacting those responsible for the identification evaluation and design of technologybased business solutions as well as providing support for softwareasaservice (SaaS) and enterprisewide applications. They lead a team or teams to develop new methods to solve complex business problems drive system optimization and mitigate potential risk.

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:

Leadership & Supervision

• Strategic leader Directs operational units.
• Directs the activities of a functional area or multiple integrated departments through lower management.
• Leads team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters.
• Responsible for supporting the talent strategy through hiring onboarding learning & development performance succession planning engagement recognition and inclusion diversity and equity practices.
• Responsible for fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
• Responsible for setting employee objectives and expectations monitoring and evaluating performance providing meaningful feedback and mentorship.
• Responsible for supporting employee career development.
• Contributes to development of strategies of a function or multi departments.

Knowledge & Application

• Participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on implementation and ensures operational effectiveness.
• Effectively cascades functional strategy and contributes to development of organizational policies.
• Accountable for actions that impact function or multiple department budgets.
• Works on complex issues where problems are not clearly defined and where fundamental principles do not fully apply.
• Translates business segment strategy into functional plans and guides in corporate development of methods techniques and evaluation criteria for projects programs and people.
• Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

Collaboration & Interaction

• Interacts with senior management executives and/or major customers which frequently involves negotiating matters of significance to the organization.
• Reconciles multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.

This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future including conversion to H1B visa.

This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. TheCompany therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys staff employees and business relationships.

WHAT THE INCUMBENT WILL NEED:

• Education
• • Bachelors degree or higher in the information technology (IT) field business administration or information systems. In lieu of a degree at least 11 years of experience in analytics business or IT.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in analytics business or IT
• 4 years of experience managing direct reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ITrelated analytics
• 8 years of experience in manufacturing with SCADA or engineering systems a plus
• Experience with SCADA technologies such as Ignition or similar applications
• Understanding of industrial automation landscape and current manufacturing trends
