SALARY & BENEFITS: $26.67/hour with incremental increases to bring you to $29.63. Shift differentials for offshifts of $2.50/hour. Vacation after 90 days. Full benefits package the 1st day of the month after hire date. Holiday pay immediately!

Summary
We are seeking a Grinder Trainee to support our North American Hydro division in York PA. In the position you will work on unique oneoff components for some of the largest hydroelectric machines in the world. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude to learn and have past grinding experience. Position is part of a trainee program designed prepare the employee for a Grinder Specialist position.
Responsibilities
The job entails working in a fast paced production environment operating various grinding equipment producing a high quality surface according to a customers specifications on a wide variety of components. In addition the candidate would perform 15 ton or less basic overhead crane lifts to facilitate their job.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic discipline aptitude/attitude
- Previous grinding experience preferred but not required
