As we continue to grow we are seeking a responsible and detailoriented professional to join our team as a Maintenance Technician in our Lawrence KS location.
This role is responsible for performing a variety of technical duties relating to mechanical electrical preventive maintenance and fabrication functions.
SHIFT: Friday through Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM CST with overtime as required by project.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Troubleshoots equipment issues in production environment.
- Troubleshoot and or repair electrical hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical components.
- Provides support in areas of fabrication assembly welding burning cutting pipefitting and machining.
- Work from oral and written instructions.
- Understand and comply with all parts ordering and issuing procedures.
- Maintains adherence to company policy safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
- Assumes other duties as assigned by leadership.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Diagnosing equipment failures.
- Performs repairs on equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance tasks.
- Fabrication assembly welding cutting pipefitting and machining.
- Operating production equipment for diagnostic purposes.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires ability to work off ladders scaffolding and scissors lifts.
- Requires ability to do extended amounts of walking.
- Extended time on feet.
- Manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination with hand/power tools.
- Frequent stooping bending walking carrying and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Light office duties and activities to include the continual use of a tablet.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS):
- Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 2 4 Years maintenance experience in production environment.
