As we continue to expand were seeking a driven experienced and handson Assistant Venue Manager (AVM) to join our Mackay team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to further their leadership career within a progressive and fastgrowing organisation.
The Role
Reporting to the Venue Manager the AVM is an integral part of the daytoday operations and success of the restaurant. You will lead by example drive a highperforming team culture and ensure excellence across service safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Venue Manager in all facets of daily operations
- Lead mentor and train team members to ensure a consistent and highstandard customer experience
- Monitor and manage inventory ordering and stock control
- Ensure compliance with all food safety OH&S and regulatory standards
- Implement and support local marketing initiatives and promotional strategies
- Handle escalated customer feedback with professionalism and efficiency
- Manage shift scheduling and labour effectiveness

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality or QSR
- Proven leadership capabilities with a passion for developing people
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations food safety and service standards
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Availability for a flexible roster including evenings and weekends
- High attention to detail and a customerfirst mindset

If you have the following we strongly encourage you to apply:
- At least 12 months of management experience in hospitality
- Recognised hospitality qualifications
- An intermediate IELTS certificate to validate English proficiency
