About Us

We are currently an earlystage startup but we aim to become the allinone platform for corporate events like retreats and team building similar to what Booking is for private users. Unlike private users companies have distinct needs and until now nobody has created a software program that fully addresses these needs.
Here comes Always Friday: we have the expertise and determination to develop a marketplace that automates and digitalises the entire eventplanning from location scouting to seamless invoice management. Our platform will leverage a proprietary dataset in partnership with worldclass hotel chains rather than relying on scraping data from other websites like existing alternatives ambuilding providers and budgets in siloed tools and endless email chains.

Who Were Looking For

Were looking for a superstar a pragmatic and proactive software engineer with 24 years of experience in productdriven companies. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a handson attitude: when something breaks you fix it; when somethings unclear you figure it out. You value speed iteration and learning directly from users.

Tasks

  • Own features endtoend. Design build test ship and iterate across the stack ( on AWS).
  • Set the technical direction. Partner with Lorenzo (Cofounder & CTO) on architecture tooling and the product roadmap.
  • Multiply the team. Help us hire onboard and mentor the next generation of engineers as we 3 headcount over the next 12months.
  • Stay close to users. Join product calls and push sameday improvements.
  • Build for resilience. Champion code quality testing observability and DevOps best practices.

Requirements

  • 24 years in productdriven companies (startup experience a plus).
  • Proficient with TypeScript React/ relational DBs and modern cloud infra.
  • Comfortable jumping between frontend polish and backend performance.
  • Pragmatic biased to action and energized by ambiguity.
