Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project accounting particularly within consulting/contracting firms. They must demonstrate expertise in donorfunded project financing contract bidding documentation preparation of audited financial statements and navigating statutory regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities would include your ability to;
- Manage project accounting for consulting/contracting firm projects.
- Draft comprehensive financing proposals for donorfunded projects.
- Prepare accurate and timely audited financial statements.
- Develop and submit contract bidding documentation in compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial processes align with regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support organizational growth and compliance.
- Ensure the organization meets all statutory regulatory documentation requirements including but not limited to:
- Tax Clearance Certificates
- PENCOM Compliance Certificates
- NSITF Compliance Certificates
- ITF Compliance Certificates
- PBE Certificates
Requirements
- A Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN ACCA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in consulting/contracting firm project accounting.
- Strong understanding of donorfunded project financial management.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing contract bidding documentation.
- Proficiency in obtaining statutory regulatory documentation for bids.
- Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in financial software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
