Job Description
Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Create complex surface models for molded and aesthetically demanding parts.
Handle and optimize large assemblies to ensure smooth performance and design integrity.
Generate detailed 2D drawings including GD&T welding symbols and material specs.
Apply design for manufacturability (DFM) principles and collaborate with production teams.
Conduct interference checks tolerance stackups and assembly validation.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams to support prototyping testing and modifications.
Manage design revisions using SolidWorks PDM or similar systems.
Ensure designs comply with engineering standards quality benchmarks and customer requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3 to 5 years of solid handson experience with SolidWorks.
