Job Description
A leading Canadian infrastructure contractor is expanding its geotechnical design team for a new downtown tunnel and deepexcavation program. The successful candidate will guide investigation design and construction support for shaft excavations slurry / secant walls and TBM drives beneath sensitive urban corridors.
Key responsibilities
Plan & interpret geotechnical investigations (CPT boreholes packer tests).
Produce deepfoundation and supportofexcavation designs using PLAXIS / FLAC.
Monitor instrumentation and settlement; implement triggerlevel responses.
Liaise daily with construction teams to resolve fielddesign issues.
Prepare geotechnical baseline & interpretive reports for designbuild contracts.
Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external reviewers.
Requirements
. in Qu bec (or eligibility within 6 months).
6 12 years on deep excavations tunnels or heavycivil foundations.
Proficiency with PLAXIS / FLAC (or similar) and Canadian codes.
Bilingual (French / English) communication an asset.
