Job Summary:
The Office of Accommodations and Accessibility invites applications for a fulltime 9month Learning Specialist to provide individualized comprehensive academic support to students enrolled in the Learning Support Program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Education Psychology Counseling Higher Education Administration or related field and 13 years of related experience. Computer competence and excellent time management skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Education Special Education Counseling College Student Personnel or related field. Experience working with adolescent or college aged students preferred. Background and experience in writing editing and researching college level papers and other written projects. Ability to provide emotional support for students struggling to adjust to college and refer to Counseling Services as appropriate. Must be able to communicate with and build positive relationships with all stakeholders including faculty staff students and parents/guardians. Background in reading and literacy preferred.
