Job Description

  • Review subgrantee fund requests to ensure alignment with the agreed budget and policies;
  • Review accountabilities submitted by subgrantees after fund retirement to verify activities were carried out as per the approved budget;
  • Verify the authenticity and completeness of all payments related to project activities ensuring proper supporting documentation confirms implementation;
  • Monitor appropriate use of program assets used in the implementation of program activities;
  • Conduct field visits at the facilities and grantee levels to observe program implementation.
  • Preparing biweekly reports; and
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tools and processes for grant monitoring and risk assessment.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Accounting and Finance Economics Actuarial Science or related field;
  • Familiarity with Audit and Risk Analysis;
  • Familiarity with USAIDfunded projects including their regulatory requirements and operating environment in Tanzania is an advantage.
