Job Duties and Responsibilties:


  • Perform project tasks that promote culturally safe space.
  • Provide support in implementing the Scope of Work (SOW) for program evaluation of workforce development training initiative of the Behavioral Health Administration at the Hawaii State Department of Health.
  • Perform assigned tasks to implement programs developed by supervising faculty.
  • Independently carry out tasks necessary for program evaluation including contemporary and archival research document preparation and meeting facilitation.
  • Provide feedback for undergraduate students on program evaluation activities. Review and provide input to principal investigators and staff as needed.
  • Contribute to the completion of proposals and reports.
  • Assist with conducting health social work and social science research relevant to projects.
  • Assist with timely completion of extramurally funded deliverables.
  • Attend meetings including but not limited to community County and State level meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Social Work Native Hawaiian Studies Public Health Political Science
  • Psychology Biology Social Science Anthropology or demonstrated experience in one or more of these fields.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications including Word Access Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with telework programs such as Zoom Google Suite and Slack.
  • Interest in the treatment and prevention of substance misuse and mental health.
  • Experience working with undergraduate students.
  • Experience working on program evaluation.
  • Ability to perform work tasks remotely.
