Job Description

Position Summary:

Are you a dynamic and driven professional seeking an exceptional career opportunity Look no further than the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI). We are currently seeking a highly motivated Associate Administrator to join our Applied Sensing division. In this pivotal role you will play a crucial part in supporting the administrative operations of our cuttingedge research division. Apply today!

Provides administrative support and manages office duties with limited supervision for the Digital & Systems Engineering Sector. Daily responsibilities include the completion and submission of internal UDRI forms internal budget tracking resource allocation tracking electronic document filing travel forms scheduling meetings eventplanning managing timecards and constructing clear correspondence.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School graduate plus four years of relevant experience (diverse progressive administrative) and training OR and Associates degree plus two years of relevant experience and training OR a Bachelors and no previous experience required.
Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze issues and develop solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
Organization and timemanagement skills
Success demonstration of clear and accurate written and verbal communication
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail
Experience working with sensitive and confidential information
Experience with electronic documentation systems
Experience in working with remote individuals
Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Bachelors Degree in business or a related field
2 years of demonstrated successful administrative experience in a fastpaced office environment
Purchasing/procurement experience
Prior administrative experience a the University of Dayton
Event planning experience
Experience with Runway and/or CostPoint
Proficiency in OneDrive
Familiarity with an electronic timecard system
Employee onboarding/recognition experience
Experience with government contracts
